Five Inexpensive Tips to Clean Your Bathroom

If you are wondering what are those spots in the bottom of my toilet and how you can get rid of hard water rings?  Try using white vinegar just pour a cup into your toilet bowl, set your timer to one hour and after scrub.  The hard water ring as well as spots should be very easy to remove.

If you use oily bath scrubs and soaps most like you will notice bathtub rings.  This is extremely easy to clean.  All you need to do is clean with warm water and a mildly abrasive cleaner.  I prefer baking soda because will not leave any harsh chemicals behind.

To prevent clogs on your pipes use every other month the following:

  • 1/2 cup of baking soda
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar

This mixture will start to foam up.  Wait about 10 minutes and them pour boiling water down the drain.

You can also make your own natural bathroom cleaner.  We found this amazing recipe from Popsugar Home.
You will need the following:

  • 1/2 cup baking Soda
  • 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide
  • 1 teaspoon liquid dish soap
  • 1 small squeeze-top container

Mix together.  The combination of the soda, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda will clean and scrub away stains as well as hard water buildup.
